Direct feed slot won't open, or feels stiff to open

Doxie Pro's direct feed slot can be opened by simply pulling it up and forward toward you.

You might have to pull it firmly – it's secured by a little nub on the right side. Don't worry about breaking it. If you open it slowly, it might feel a bit stiff, or it might open at a slight angle (since it's just secured on the right side) – but, again, don't worry and just open it, it won't break. 🙂

Here's a video to demonstrate. When you're done using the direct feed slot, be sure to close it before using the automatic document feeder.
