Pushing the scan button doesn't work

You can start a scan by pushing Doxie's physical Scan button, or by pushing Scan in the Doxie software.

If the physical Scan button doesn't work – is the Doxie software running? Open the Doxie software, look for it to be recognized by the software, and then try pushing the button again. Does the software see your scanner, and are you now able to push the button to start scanning?
